Animas City Theatre, 128 E. College Drive, will host “An Evening with Andy Frasco & The U.N.” at 8 p.m. Wednesday (doors open at 7 p.m.).

Andy Frasco & The U.N., formed in Los Angeles, consists of Andrew Frasco, Ernie Chang, Shawn Eckelsare and a consistently rotating cast of additional band members. The bands genre is American blues rock. Andy Frasco & The U.N. has released eight studio albums and their latest album “L’Optimist” will be available Friday, Aug. 11.

This show will feature music from the album “Wash, Rinse, Repeat.” The songs were written with members of Dashboard Confessional, 3oh!3, Doom Flamingo, AWOLnation, and others. As a portrait of Andy Frasco, the album covers him dealing with everything from addiction, to breaking old romantic habits and fighting through the bad days to find the good.
