Police released a photo of a miniature excavator stolen from the construction site at the I-94/I-69 interchange in Calhoun County.

MARSHALL, MI -- A mini excavator was stolen from a state of Michigan construction site at the interchange of I-94 and I-69, the Michigan State Police said.

Troopers are investigating the theft of a CAT Mini-Excavator, which was trailered away from the Michigan Department of Transportation construction site near Marshall, police said in a news release.

It happened around 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 2.

The suspect was driving a “newer” black RAM crew-cab pickup, pulling a black equipment hauler flatbed gooseneck trailer, police said.
